On Monday, 14th April, the day dawned abit awkward and gruesome.
The mungiki sect members had organized and orehe strated major mayhem, destruction as they invaded most major towns across the country.
The sect members were outpouring and venting their anger to revenge the murder, of the wife of their spiritual leader, Maina Njenga.
For quite a long time, the Kenyan people have been affected, their have been nursing gruesome wounds inflicted by the Mungiki sect and it’s high time the sect members do respect the sanctity of life. The group, must cease these senseless killing of innocent Kenyans in the name of protesting over what they call Government infringement on their freedom.
But, who are this Mungiki’s ? what’s their underlying issues, which they keep on fighting so hard?

Finally, the much awaited grand coalition cabinet have been consistuted.
These comes against the backdrop of major disagreements over cabinet portifolio balance and the allocation which had took the centre stage.
Now, the country can breathe a sign of relief. The political score have been scored, after a lot of jostling, bargaining and the act of balancing.
The big task now lies ahead, since, from the onset of this year, the country hasn’t experienced an aura of peace at all. The clouds of tension, tribalism, revalry have been hovering around us, and a lot, has since passed under the bridge.

The writing is large on the wall; that the national reconciliation act has hit a stalemate. Going by the recent postponement of cabinet appointments tells a lot and what have been boiling over and over again. After a successful brokered peace deal accord by Dr. Kofi Annan, of which signed by the two principals and then entrenched in the constitution by the parliament, only what was left was it's implementation. Since then the realization of the accord has turned to be a cropper, disagreement over portifolio balance and it's allocation has turned to be the bone of contention. The current stalemate and what we are witnessing is a furry over the powerful ministerial dockets because each side wants to bag them. After food, clothing and shelter in the order of the basic needs, peace is another key factor priority to the average kenyan. What most Kenyans pray for is peace to prevail and they feel secure in their country. Peace is the holding factor, for if there's peace everywhere, most Kenyans can transact their business accordingly, roam and settle at whatever corner of the country they feel like, for peace, enables most people to breath a sign of relief. For any economic growth to be realised in all key sectors of the economy peace must prevail in the country.
